Eton Solutions, a tech platform targeting family offices, RIAs and others, is celebrating that achieving international certification for its AI platform EtonAI\u2122 has taken\u00a0the group up another level.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
The US-headquartered firm, which also has international headquarters in Singapore, said it is now certified under ISO 42001, the first international standard for Artificial Intelligence Management Systems (AIMS). It is a framework for supporting organization to develop, implement, and manage AI responsibly. At a time when this new technology inspires dread as well as excitement \u2013 in sectors including wealth management \u2013 Eton Solutions hopes this step will enhance its business.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
\u201cFor organizations such as ours, operating with sensitive financial and personal data, knowing that our technology partner adheres to the highest ethical AI standards is paramount,\u201d Saji Sachchithanantham, chief operating officer of Todd Family Office, said in a statement from Eton Solutions last week. (Todd Family Office is based in New Zealand.)<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
\u201cEton Solutions\u2019 ISO 42001 certification provides us with added confidence that their AI-powered solutions are not only innovative but also built on a foundation of trust, transparency, and robust governance,\u201d Sachchithanantham said.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
The firm is continuing\u00a0to expand. In July, it wrapped up up its $58 million series C fundraising round.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
Some 91 per cent of wealth managers plan or already use AI in their investment strategy or asset class research, but persist in older approaches to bill payments, taxes, managing documents, onboarding clients and storing data, Eton Solutions, said, citing figures from Mercer, a consultancy.
Certain worries may hamper a switch to AI, the firm continued.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
\u201c[This] is due in large part to concerns around the privacy and security of their data being stored in the cloud and, further, that AI could make their investments or financial information public,\u201d it said.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
The data backdrop for EtonAI\u2122 is Eton Solution\u2019s core platform AtlasFive\u00ae, which is used by more than 960 families, advisory firms and private equity firms, it said.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
The EtonAI\u2122 solution helps managers crunch through more than 250 document types. The tool can handle bill pay, private equity documents, bank and credit card statements, tax documents, K-1s, market data, KYC and customer onboarding, audit and governance, the firm said.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
Murali Nadarajah, chief information officer at Eton Solutions,\u00a0told this publication\u00a0in March 2025 that his firm had\u00a0identified no fewer than 260 processes, such as data management, reporting and payments, that could\u00a0be automated.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
Eton Solutions said its flagship platform, AtlasFive\u00ae, is used by more than 850 of the world\u2019s wealthiest families.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
In May 2024, Eton Solutions launched what it said was an industry-first Administrative Family Office (AFO)\u2122. This is for ultra-high net worth families\u00a0with\u00a0assets\u00a0from $25 million, offering the same capabilities as large SFOs. Eton Solutions was created by\u00a0Eton Advisors, a multi-family office.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
